Cloud Systems Architect is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Architect develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Architect monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Cloud Systems Architect works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.   • The Weave Senior Salesforce Service Cloud Architect, Cloud Developer collaborates with business stakeholders to develop a scalable architecture, vision, and strategy for Salesforce that supports optimal business outcomes. This role works closely with the Product team to prioritize backlog and ensures that the solution design meets defined acceptance criteria.

    Reporting to the Director of Business Systems Operations, the Solution Architect translates client requirements into architecture for key client needs. They understand project scope, validate resources, map business requirements to technical specifications, and ensure alignment with stakeholders' goals. This role requires the ability to act as an individual contributor/Senior Developer.

    What you will own:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives related to customer service and support.
    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design considerations.
    • Architect end-to-end solutions within the Salesforce Service Cloud platform, considering scalability, performance, and security.
    • Design data models, workflows, and integrations to meet business needs.
    • Create and maintain documentation for the designed solution.
    • Oversee the customization and configuration of Salesforce Service Cloud features to meet specific business requirements.
    • Leverage declarative tools and, when necessary, guide the development team in implementing custom solutions.
    • Design and implement integrations with other Salesforce clouds, third-party applications, and external systems.
    • Ensure data consistency and integrity across integrated platforms.
    • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Define and enforce data access and sharing rules to protect sensitive information.
    • Monitor and optimize the performance of the Service Cloud implementation.
    • Identify and address bottlenecks, scalability issues, and other performance-related concerns.
    • Establish and enforce best practices for Salesforce development and configuration.
    • Implement governance policies to maintain the health of the Salesforce instance.
    • Develop training materials for end-users and administrators.
    • Ensure that users understand and adopt the implemented Service Cloud features.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including administrators, developers, and business analysts.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and insights on the Service Cloud architecture.

    What you will need to accomplish the job

    • Good communication and people skills a must.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • 12 years of experience within the Salesforce ecosystem as a Solution Architect.
    • Educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or MBA.
    • Hands-on experience in business process mapping.
    • Understanding of overall Salesforce architecture and landscape.
    • Business requirement gathering, client interaction, analysis, and mapping to Salesforce product testing and features.
    • Appexchange Product Knowledge.
    • Requirements to Salesforce Functionality and development of scope, effort estimates, resource plans, and implementation timelines.
    • Deep knowledge of Salesforce products, especially Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Community Cloud.
    • Extensive experience in CTI, Service Cloud features, Knowledge Management, Live Agent, and Entitlements.
    • Hands-on experience with Service Cloud, Omnichannel, Open CTI Salesforce methods.
    • Experience with Zendesk and Mulesoft a big advantage
    • Cross-training peers and mentoring teammates.

    What will make us love you

    • 12 years of Salesforce platform experience (Service Cloud, General Configuration, etc.).
    • 7 years of Salesforce development experience (APEX, Visualforce, Portals/Communities).
    • Deep understanding of technical capabilities, including Visualforce, APEX APIs, APEX Triggers, and APEX Web services.
    • Experience in designing and building cloud apps.
    • Strong experience and understanding of Salesforce APIs, integration patterns, and hands-on knowledge on writing custom web services
    • Strong knowledge and experience around Salesforce service cloud and Sales Cloud features
    • Salesforce Certifications (Admin, Consultant, Developer, and Architect).
    • Primary Skills: Lightning/Aura, Integration Concepts, LWC.
    • Secondary Skills: Apex, JavaScript.
