NC Water Jet Operator 

Do you want to learn a new CNC skill?  Here is your opportunity!  The water jet is much like a plasma cutter but uses water to cut metals.  This is a second shift position which offers several shift schedules.  If you have water jet experience or plasma cutter experience complete our online process for consideration!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the water jet operation, loading and unloading material and parts, proving programs, operating controls, setting offsets, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.

Studies and interprets drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products, sequence of operations and set up requirements.

Communicates with management, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues. Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.

Communicates all production related items to next shift water jet operator or shift supervisors.

Completes all required safety procedures prior to and during operations.

May perform other duties as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or GED.

Water Jet or plasma cutter experience a plus but willing to train the right candidate!

Ability to drive a forklift.
