Job Description
About the Role
Amcor’s first priority is to ensure the safety of our co-workers. The Zecchetti Operator must safely operate the various packaging equipment on a 12-hour shift and ensure that both quality and productivity meet Amcor standards. This position must reach and maintain blow or injection level 2 skill sets and have the ability to train new downstream employees as needed.
Safety first - be aware of and abide by company safety policies and procedures at all times
Complete quality checks as required and communicate quality issues to the Shift Lead, Shift Supervisor and Quality Department
Maintain a high degree of housekeeping at all time, keeping equipment and work area clean and organized
Ensure equipment is in good and safe working condition and communicate to the Shift Lead, Shift Supervisor and Maintenance when mechanical issues arise.
Effectively run the all palletizers, primarily but not limited to the Zecchetti palletizing equipment, as well as strappers, wrappers, and conveyors.
Accurately complete all required paperwork and hand in at the end of shift
Effectively navigates and uses Amcor’s barcoding and quality data systems
Attend daily shift meetings and training as required
Achieves and maintains a level 2 blow mold and/or injection mold skillset
Can effectively train all downstream operators and temporary employees as needed
Complete all other tasks assigned

About You
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Prior production related experience preferred
Able to effectively communicate safety, quality and production issues
Able to work quickly and complete tasks in a fast-paced production environment
High attention to detail
Self-motivated with ability to work individually and as a team
Must be willing to work any shift

The pay range for the above referenced position is determined by taking into account many factors such as experience, qualifications, certifications, skills, education and other business-related factors. Salary decisions are based on each job. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $21.50 to $22.35.
