Coating, Painting, and Spraying Machine Operator utilizes a sprayer to apply paint to a variety of products. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Coating, Painting, and Spraying Machine Operator may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Coating, Painting, and Spraying Machine Operator relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. We are looking for a person comfortable climbing ladders, and able to operate a pressure washing machine to wash our house painting projects ahead of our painting crews. Equipment and company vehicle will be provided, along with a company gas card. No experience is necessary, training will be provided. This position is a physical labor position.
Requirements
- Able and willing to work 32 hours per week
- Able to lift and maneuver washing equipment (ladders, pressure washer, etc. of 50 lbs)
- Must be 18 or older
- Must be willing to drive company vehicle from job site to job site
- Must have a clean driving record, and valid drivers license
- Must be personable and able to follow instructions
- Must not be afraid of heights, as climbing ladders is required at times
- Must be able to work alone with minimal supervision
Compensation
$20.00 – $24.00 per hour starting pay, with increases based on performance.
