Being a Coating, Painting, and Spraying Machine Operator may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Coating, Painting, and Spraying Machine Operator relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Summary of Job Duties:
As Machine Operator I, employee will perform routine tasks in support of the packaging of dietary supplements. Performs tasks and operates packaging equipment in a regulated environment including bottle filling, cotton and desiccant equipment, and capping and labeling equipment. Also expected to assist Machine Operator II in tablet & capsule filling and processing. Adheres to all food safety and food quality guidelines, and cGMP requirements per NSF and FDA. Completes all documentation required for batch processing according to good documentation practices. Prepares disinfectants and performs sanitation/cleaning activities per procedures, and follows appropriate gowning, cGMP, and safety guidelines.
