Job description

The company is seeking a hard-working individual to work as a machine operator. Shifts are Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm.

Responsibilities Include:

• Operating brake press with potential to learn all sheet metal machines.
• Following specifications such as blueprints, design drawings, and bill of materials, and planning sequence of operations.
• Following procedures and conducting preventative maintenance programs.
• Learning the site-specific usage of different types of forklifts and how they are used in different areas for a specific job.
• Using logic and reasoning to troubleshoot and identify alternative solutions to problems.
• Participating in the continuous improvement system.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills.
• Read a tape measure.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors, peers, and subordinates.
• Good listening skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Arm-hand steadiness.
