WHAT WE OFFER
SUMMARY
Design and develop new jobs from blueprint through completion for CNC spring making and 4-Slide machines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Write CNC programs for CNC operations.
Maintain and modify CNC tools.
Perform set up and operation procedures for a majority of CNC processes.
Monitor the beginning of all processes and instruct operating personnel on correct operating and production quality checking procedures.
Know, understand and be able to use any and all quality testing procedures and tools employed within assigned department.
Recommends changes in blueprints, in machine set up, type of metal and methods and/or procedures and operations for making products.
Work with engineering in the development of new department products.
Complete job cards accurately on a daily basis.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Participate in and support departmental and companywide continuous improvement activities.
Perform any and all other reasonable tasks assigned by the department leader.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Required 3 years' experience
Required extensive knowledge of HTC, Wafios, Bihler and Itaya machines.
High school diploma or GED required.
NCRC gold level preferred.
Demonstrate proficiency with math skills.
Computer and/or CNC programming skills are desirable.
Good organizational skills are desired.
Good communication skills are necessary.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
