CNC Operator/Programmer

Overview

JFD Tube & Coil Products, Inc is a custom manufacturer of shell & tube heat exchangers for HVAC, oil & refinery, chemical, and pulp & paper industries. The successful candidate will be setting up and operating machine shop equipment in a safe manner, and in accordance with blueprints and our quality standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Read & upload drawings from AutoCad in CNC Machines

2. Write & run programs for CNC Machines

3. Program, setup, adjust, and operate CNC (HAAS VF Series) radial arm drills, lathes and CNC VMC’s (vertical
machining centers)

4. Perform machine maintenance such as oiling machines, coolant, dies, or work pieces

5. Operating handheld tools and other equipment daily

6. Keep work area neat, clean, and organized

7. Assist and help other shop co-workers as needed

Skills & Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for 8 hours
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to communicate and be trained effectively
• Excellent attitude in a team environment, and timeliness
• Sense of urgency/Speed and Accuracy

Education & Experience:

1. High School Diploma / GED required. Certificate from a college or trade school, or an equivalent amount of
experience on the job

2. Must be able to read and understand a detailed shop drawing in English

3. Other machine experience a plus

4. High attention to detail, with ability to analyze complex information

5. Preferred 5 years CNC experience

Salary & Benefits:

Hourly wage to be determined $25-$30 /hr. DOE. Benefits include (after probationary period) paid vacation & paid holidays, Bonus, 401(k) with Employer Match, profit sharing, medical, dental, life insurance.
