A leading acute care hospital located in southeastern New York is now searching for an experienced Nurse Manager Operating Room to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This acute care facility was founded over one hundred years ago and today houses nearly 400 licensed beds and offers a wide variety of medical and surgical services. Reporting to the Nurse Director Perioperative Services, the Nurse Manager Operating Room will oversee all clinical and administrative operations of the surgical department. This unit currently operates 6 OR’s and performs roughly 2,000 inpatient procedures each year. The Nurse Manager has oversight of department staffing, participates in recruitment, monitors and evaluates staff performance, develops training plans, implements departmental policies and procedures, works to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, manages department budgets, and participates in various hospital committees.

What Makes You Awesome:

• Registered Nurse RN license in the state of New York or ability to obtain
• Prior circulating or scrub experience in an operating room setting
• Proven leadership experience in former nursing roles
