Craft brewery near Fishkill is hiring a Tasting Room Manager. We are seeking a self-starter who has the ideas and drive to assist in growing our business. You will be responsible for supervising and supporting the day-to-day operations to ensure excellent customer service. The Tasting Room Manager must be able to operate in a dynamic environment by multi-tasking, possessing foresight, remaining calm under pressure, plus handling conversations with tact.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervise, schedule, on-floor management, and training of tasting room staff members for employee retention
• Maintain and reconcile tasting room inventory
• Overseeing tastings and hosting tastings when needed
• Seek out and engage with new vendors to keep tap room programming fresh and exciting
• Actively soliciting customer feedback and analyze to identify opportunities to improve experience
• Assisting in utilizing brewery social media/marketing channels to promote events and updates related to the tap room

Required skill set:

• Passion for beer and hospitality with a strong beer knowledge.
• 1 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, including managing staff, reviewing sales and forecasting for inventory
• ServSafe and TIPS certified, or willing to become certified

Hours and Schedule:

• Wednesday-Sunday, 12pm-8/9pm

Compensation:

• $55,000 - $70,000 per year
