The Assistant General Manager will support all operational functions while leading the team by promoting cooperative effort, team spirit, and good morale among all staff.
Job Description: The Assistant General Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional guest experience by overseeing the daily operations of our gaming floor.
Key Responsibilities:
· Be present on the floor, actively assisting and interacting with guests to ensure a memorable experience.
· Lead and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
· Ensure the smooth flow of operations for all positions, addressing any issues or challenges promptly.
· Assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations, including inventory management and staff coordination.
· Coordinate and manage events and buyouts, ensuring successful execution and guest satisfaction.
· Create and manage employee schedules for all staff, ensuring adequate coverage and adherence to labor regulations.
· Resolve employee issues for FOH (Front of House) and BOH (Back of House), communicating with employees to improve performance and behavior.
· Partner with HR to create written corrective action plans when necessary.
· Assist in training new staff members and providing ongoing support and guidance.
· Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving guest satisfaction and increasing revenue.
· Responsible for balancing cash drawers
· Act as a liaison between the FOH and BOH
· Nurture a positive working relationship with staff
· Resolving complaints from customers in a polite and friendly manner
· Responsible for following all company operational and legal polices
· Communicate efficiently and timely with all management team members
Qualifications:
One-year previous supervisory experience, preferably within a bar
Previous Security Guard Experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Must be comfortable talking and interacting with guests of all ages.
Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evening)
