Collateral Manager leads a team of appraisers conducting assessments, valuations, and appraisal reviews of real estate, land, and other personal property to establish the market value generally used for lending, insurance, or other purposes. Establishes processes for conducting on-site inspections of property and data collection required to perform valuations. Being an Collateral Manager follows generally accepted appraisal practice concepts and practices to perform data analysis, develop valuation estimates, and write comprehensive reports and exhibits. Ensures appraisal documentation and appraiser certification comply with all regulations. Additionally, Collateral Manager performs appraisal quality reviews to ensure appropriate valuation and minimize risk. Creates process efficiencies with appraisal software tools and databases. May require a bachelor's degree. Has the Member of the Appraisal Institute (SRPA) or similar designation. Requires a State Appraiser License. Typically reports to a director. The Collateral Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Festival Manager (On Site) and Collateral Manager, this person is responsible for the supervision of the organization, inventorying and distribution of all festival related collateral (shirts, medals, merchandise etc.). Working side-by-side with the Festival Manager, the Festival Lead, and the Delivery Inventory Manager, the Collateral Lead plays a vital role in the planning, organization and supervision necessary to put together an event while maintaining a high brand standard.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Unloading and organizing the contents of the Festival Trailer within base camp
Meet and greet the Dedicated Truck-Unload and organize all new collateral with the Delivery Inventory Manager
Work with Delivery Inventory Manager to locate all deliveries arriving for festival
Gather, count and verify inventory of previous race collateral that traveled with the production trailers as well as new shipments.Those inventories are to be entered into the proper documents by Tuesday.
Communicate with the Festival Manager, Collateral Manager and Delivery Inventory manager if there is any missing inventory via your daily report
Organize and transport (operate a skid) zone collateral in its entirety as tents and zones are assembled
Ensure that all collateral is protected from the elements, weatherproofed and stored on any open trailer, closest to basecamp until deployment
Maintain a high tempo management style with volunteers to ensure the productivity and efficiency among the labor force is optimal during build week and race day(s)
Manage volunteers and support staff in an efficient and deliberate manner through delegation of tasks
Help with the completion of all festival zone checklists (Bag Check, Merchandise, Shade Tents, Finish, Start, etc.)
Inventory all outgoing collateral and label boxes with date, contents and quantity on all four sides
Create packing slips and shipping labels for all collateral being shipped out
Communicate with Festival Manager and Delivery Inventory Manager any shipping information necessary for freight (dimensions, contents, number of boxes and destination)
Help the festival team to load all festival materials back into the festival trailer after being provided a load plan by the Festival Manager
Qualifications:
Have experience as a manager in a high pace environment
Have experience operating machinery, or be willing to learn
Be comfortable traveling 100 days or more during the year
Be prepared and comfortable with working outside in all severe weather situations
Be physically capable of working long hours 10 days consecutively
Be willing to learn the processes set in place, while maintaining an analytical and problem solving mindset to improve these procedures
Must be able to manage high volumes of people with an efficient approach to accomplishing mission critical tasks
Be capable of navigating and utilizing email, Microsoft Office programs, Google Drive and Egnyte
