Collections Representative jobs in Akron, OH

TEKsystems is looking to hire a Collections Representative to work on-site at one of the largest, rapidly growing banks in the Midwest.

• Pay: $18.00-19.00/hour
• Shift: Monday-Friday 12:00pm-9:00pm AND 1 Saturday per month 8:00am-1:00pm
• Office located in the Akron, OH area (MUST be located in Akron, OH area)
  • First 60 days will be required to work in-office
  • After 60 days there will be the opportunity to work remotely
  • All Saturday shifts can be worked remotely

Job Description:

• Collecting on Installment Loans (auto, RV, marine, powersport, etc. loans)
• Outbound phone calls to borrowers to keep accounts current/bring accounts to current
• Utilize a manual dialer to makes calls
• Recommends action for decisions in dealing with repossessions, bankruptcy, and/or foreclosures
• Arrange for appropriate bank and/or legal action based on account analysis and as directed by manager

Qualifications:

• Collections experience is NOT preferred
• 2-3 years of food industry (servers), hospitality (front desk hotel reps), or call center experience
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable - able to be in the office/great attendance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
