Collections Representative - Berrien Springs (Full-Time)
SUMMARY:- Responsible for performing collection activities associated with various delinquent accounts.
- Reviews delinquent accounts, determines probable reasons for account status, and contacts members to resolve the delinquencies.
- Discusses possible financial arrangements and suggests financial options to arrive at suitable payment arrangements.
- Utilizes various techniques, as circumstances indicate, to promptly collect on delinquent accounts.
- Ensures the Company's professional image is maintained.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School diploma or equivalent.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Basic understanding of collection policies, procedures and related laws and regulations.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory customer service experience.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:- Must have demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
- Accuracy and thoroughness in work.
- Excellent communication, telephone and public relations skills.
- Ability to work well independently.
- Ability to work well in stressful situations.
- Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment.
