Collections Representative jobs in Somerset, NJ

• Monday to Friday -8am- 5pm
• Hybrid- 3 days on site - 2 days work from home
• 1-year contract

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing weekly and monthly corporate financial reporting
• Preparing and assisting with monthly journal entries
• Weekly and monthly internal reports
• Performing internal audit and compliance testing
• Engaging and collaborating with finance team members to complete special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Intermediate general ledger background from journal entries through financial statement preparation
• Strong computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Education or experience to fulfill the essential functions and responsibilities with a minimum of 2 years accounting/general ledger experience
• Education- HS Diploma required
• Communication is key - must be able to speak clearly and professionally with Sales team and end clients
• Must be detailed Orientated, organized, multi task - this is a very fast paced environment
• Customer Services Skills required
• ERP Applications - Peoplesoft or SAP is a plus
• Must have excellent Excel exp
