Collections Specialist - Healthcare jobs in Burlington, VT

Flexaseal Engineered Seals and Systems, LLC, is a worldwide systems and mechanical seal manufacturer with facilities in Vermont, New York, Washington, Louisiana, Texas and Brazil. After 40 years, Flexaseal is continuing to grow with sales agents and distributors servicing over 50 countries. We are seeking a full-time Credit and Collections Specialist to join our team!

This role will be responsible for credits, collections and reconciliation of payments from our customers. Successful candidates must have exceptional customer service, have the ability to maintain composure at all times and an upbeat personality. This position is located in our Southeast Houston shop.

Responsibilities:

• Main point of contact for collections to resolve overdue accounts;
• Answer customer inquiries and provide detailed account information;
• Reconcile accounts and generate aging reports;
• Perform additional tasks and special finance projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team;
• High attention to detail;
• Capable of handling pressure and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong analytical and formal presentation skills;
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of billing transactions and processes preferred.
