Staffmark Riverside is hiring an experienced Collections Specialist for our client in Temecula, CA. We have partnered with the only solar panel installation company that 100% guarantees the amount of energy that your solar power system produces. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate collections of outstanding accounts receivable.     Pay: $21-$25 per hour

    1st Shift Hours: 8 am - 5 pm, Monday-Friday


    Essential Functions:

    • Manage a dynamic portfolio of customer accounts, including collections calls and email communications to collect outstanding balances
    • Work with customers to identify payment plans and negotiate payment arrangements to bring delinquent accounts to current
    • Review and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any billing discrepancies
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities and customer interactions in the Company CRM
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address root causes of delinquency and improve collections processes
    • Stay up-to-date on all applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies and procedures related to collections
    • Establish positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to promote a positive customer experience

    Qualifications:

    • High School Graduate or GED
    • 2 years of experience in collections or customer service (preferably in a solar or renewable energy company)
    • Strong communication, customer service, and negotiation skills
    • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collections software
    • Detail-oriented and able to work independently to meet goals and deadlines
