    URM Stores, is currently looking for a Credit & Collections Specialist, who will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our company. You will be responsible for business-to-business collections, credit analysis, reviewing aging reports, researching, and resolving AR discrepancies, and participating in special projects. Your keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel will be essential in successfully carrying out your responsibilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct business-to-business collections, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients to facilitate timely payment.
    • Perform credit analysis to evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing clients.
    • Review and analyze aging reports to identify overdue accounts and take appropriate actions.
    • Conduct research to identify and resolve discrepancies between invoiced amounts and received payments.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to address any billing issues or disputes, ensuring timely resolution.
    • Assist in generating financial reports related to accounts receivable for management review.
    • Participate in special projects related to process improvement and streamlining AR operations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all AR-related transactions and communications.
    • Contribute to a positive team environment and foster strong cross-functional collaboration.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in accounts receivable, credit analysis, and collections in a business-to-business setting.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client and internal communication.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
    • Familiarity with financial software systems and tools (e.g., ERP systems) is a plus.
    • Eager to learn, adapt, and take on additional responsibilities in the future.
    • High level of professionalism and integrity in handling confidential financial information.
    • Previous experience with special projects or process improvement initiatives is a plus.
    • This position will be 100% onsite at our Corporate Office in Spokane, WA.
