Billing and Collections Specialist in Healthcare Technology

Jopari Solutions, a Northern California-based company, is the leader in Digital Transaction Processing and helps all stakeholders improve their business processes by converting inefficient paper-based billing and payment methods into streamlined paperless workflows for electronic billing and payment processing.

We are seeking a full-time Billing and Collections Specialist to become part of our Finance Team. The ideal candidate is someone well versed in the monthly invoicing and collection process.

Location: This is a remote position, working from your home office. US-based only.

Position Responsibilities

• Prepare client billings using various data sources
• Apply payments from various sources to outstanding receivables
• Follow up with clients on outstanding receivables
• Prepare Accounts Receivable Aging and other revenue reports
• Review billing practices to ensure invoice accuracy
• Implement new and enhanced business processes to track and manage assigned workflows

Skills and Experience Required

• 2 years of relevant experience in billing and collections is a must
• Experience with Quickbooks accounting system a plus
• Experience with billing and general accounting processes, including manipulating and interpreting large amounts of operational and business data
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and array formulas a plus

• Must be self-motivated, dependable, highly organized, able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across departments to achieve objectives

Compensation and Benefits

• $23 – $27 per hour depending upon experience; 40 hours per week expected
