    We are an established Private Equity group operating and continually acquiring Residential Solar EPCs across the US. Currently we have a portfolio of over 40 EPCs in 7 states. We operate these EPCs in a hybrid model in which they operate as subcontractors for some of the largest EPCs in the country as well as producing jobs independently as sourced through a growing dealer sales network. Currently, we are seeking a Head of Construction Operations to drive the standardization, assimilation, and continuous improvement of our construction operations model nationally. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in residential solar construction operations, has been at least a 2nd line manager, is tech savvy, and has overseen a minimum of 10,000 jobs per month.

     
    ABOUT THE JOB

    We are looking for a residential solar construction operations veteran to plan out and drive our national expansion. Providing the best construction operations in the industry is the cornerstone of our strategy. As such, we are seeking a leader who is obsessed with achieving the shortest possible install durations at scale. You are strategic thinker who focuses on designing systems and processes that are efficient, scaleable, and flexible enough to adjust to conditions as they evolve. 

     

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Evaluate existing staff, systems and processes
    • Recruit, lead, mentor, manage, and grow the operations team
    • Onboard newly acquired EPCs
    • Scale systems to and staff to support 30,000 installs per month
    • Work From Home Office anywhere USA
    • Travel up to 20%

     

    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • 7 years of experience in residential solar construction operations
    • 3 years experience as a manager of managers in residential solar sales
    • Has lead a construction operations organization of at least 30 employees
    • Extensive experience managing outsourced partners both onshore and offshore
    • Has owned overall construction operations efforts for at least one state, and ideally a mutli-state or national territory
