General Summary
The College Life Coach serves as a primary connection between students and Odessa College with a permanent office located in the Odessa College Pecos Extension site. College Life Coaches guide students from entry to completion, and with support from faculty and the Student Success team, provide an additional layer of support to ensure students are successful at Odessa College. The College Life Coach is expected to connect with their assigned students each week using a variety of communication tools, including, but not limited to email, phone conversation, and web conference. These communications are critical in helping students set and achieve their academic goals, monitor their progress in courses and toward certificate/degree completion, and connect with Odessa College faculty and support services as needed. The successful candidate for this role is highly organized, self-motivated, has strong verbal and written communication skills, and is passionate about student success.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution;
Professional experience coaching/advising college students.
