    SALARY/BENEFITS:
    The salary for this position is pending classification and will be in accordance with the current Maine Community College System Confidential Pay Scale along with a full Confidential employee benefit package.


    POSITION SUMMARY:
    The Executive Assistant to the President provides high-level administrative support to the President of the YCCC and serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the President's office and supporting the President in achieving the college's strategic goals and objectives. This position also provides confidential, high-level administrative support to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). This position is expected to maintain confidentiality, as this person will be privy to campus-wide information and personnel issues.


    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Associates degree
    • 2 years experience in an administrative or support role.


    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 3 years of higher education experience in an administrative or support role.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Include but are not limited to the following;

    • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including college staff, board members, community leaders, and government officials. Represent the President's office professionally and courteously in all interactions.
    • Assist in planning major College events including JPAC meetings, accreditation visits.
    • Assist with YCCC Foundation activities and processes as directed by the YCCC President
    • Provide administrative support to ELT, including composing and editing correspondence, reports, and other documents pertinent to their respective offices, including updating the compliance calendar, and assisting with the diversity committee and external community engagement.
    • Make and coordinate arrangements for travel and meetings; accurately process reimbursement request and maintain related documents.
    • Draft and prepare minutes of meetings, special sessions, and closed session meetings; distribute and post minutes on website and/or portal; and maintain files of the approved minutes and meeting materials
    • Manage and execute College facility requests and rentals.
    • Provide general administrative support to the President, including managing expenses, processing invoices, and completing other administrative tasks as needed.
    • All other duties as assigned.
