As a College for Kids instructor, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for young learners 6 - 16 years of age. The primary responsibility is to deliver age appropriate and interactive educational programs that cater to the intellectual and creative development of young learners. Must have the ability to incorporate innovative and creative approaches to make learning enjoyable and memorable for students. Must foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to learn while ensuring the safety and well-being of students during all program activities. The College for Kids instructor will teach our in-person camps for June and July 2024. Camps will be located at the TCC Southeast Campus.
Bachelor's degree (any field). Teaching experience working with young learners. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Patience, adaptability and a genuine passion for working with young learners.
Teaching certification preferred. 2 - 5 years full time experience in secondary education teaching environment. Practical application or teaching experience related to the class of interest.
