As VP of Disability Services, you'll lead and supervise our dedicated team of program directors, healthcare professionals, and support staff. Your responsibilities will include overseeing person-centered employment, community living, and habilitation services across various programs like Day Services, Multi-Needs, supported living, and residential living services. Plus, you'll take the lead in maintaining our CARF accreditation and supervising vocational areas such as eMPower Academy and Creative Hearts Art Studio.

Requirements
Required Job Qualifications:
1. Staff Supervision
- Provide direct supervision, mentoring and monitoring of all areas of disability program service and personnel. This includes but is not limited to scheduling work hours, orientation and performance reviews.
- Approve personnel activities concerning hiring, corrective actions, orientation, training and development, performance planning/management/review.
- Maintains appropriate communications within areas of responsibility by providing effective direction, guidance and motivational environment to enhance employee and team performance.
2. Disability Program Development
- Plan, develop, and manage all program areas identified herein, assuring compliance with all regulatory and professional quality standards.
- Consult with other agency departments and staff to facilitate the effectiveness of all services.
- Assist the President / CEO in the development of agency policies and procedures.
- Develop plan for growth and expansion of services.
- Work with other Senior Managers and Human Resources to plan for agency growth and/or intentional reduction of services to ensure all marketing efforts are successful and avenues for increasing revenue streams are identified and pursued.
3. Public Awareness
- Assist with public information and education activities.
- Serve as agency liaison with other groups, agencies, and trade associations.
- Participate in and conduct public relation activities to promote community awareness of the agency and its services, as well as to promote staff recruitment.
4. Financial/Budget
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets and operate services in all assigned areas within budget by reviewing and approving adequate plans for the control of planned outputs, budget spending, labor efficiency, customer service, associated dashboard and Program Evaluation Criteria indicators, and human resource utilization.
5. Promote agency-wide safety and housekeeping as well as take a proactive approach to preventive maintenance and delivery of quality service.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human services, business, or related field is required; Master’s Degree preferred. A minimum of five years current experience in senior leadership in a non-profit serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred. Clear program management and supervisory experience required. Must be proficient in the use of computers, as well as automated client record systems. Knowledge of Medicaid Waiver programming and regulations is desired. Experience in supervising healthcare personnel, including nursing desired. Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet agency insurability requirements
- Knowledge: Should have knowledge in managing non-profit programming software and systems and Medicaid and State/Federal Grant reimbursement.
