Job Title:- Lead DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Basking Ridge, New Jersey
Employment Type: Full Time

A Lead DevSecOps Engineer will be working with the engineering team and focusing on AWS infrastructure and automation. A key part of the role would be working closely with the operations and DevOps to build, manage, and automate our customer’s AWS Infrastructure using Terraform, working on CI/CD pipelines to automate recurring tasks, and developing software components as containerized applications using Python/Java.

Must be proficient in:

• At least 7 years of experience in (L3 Skills) (AWS, Linux, Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Application Security Testing)
• Experience working in AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud technologies.
• Practical experience with Docker containerzation and Clustering (Kubernetes/EKS)
• Design, test and implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines using bitbucket/github, Jenkins or Azure DevOps
• Experience working with different services like Ec2, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda in AWS
• Experience in creating Infrastructure in AWS using Terraform/Cloudformation.
• Strong terraform skills to deploy infrastructure as a code.

• Design, implement, and automate security testing and remediation processes throughout the SDLC.
• Integrate security tools and platforms into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Conduct security code reviews and vulnerability assessments.
• Respond to security incidents and implement mitigation strategies.
• Partner with developers and operations teams to educate and raise awareness about security best practices.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our DevSecOps processes.

Nice to have:

• Should demonstrate strong Troubleshooting skills
• Setup and management of Kubernetes Cluster, including writing Dockerfile and Helm charts
• Strong understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, Firewalls and Networking concepts (VPC, Subnetting, VPNs, etc)
• Experience with configuration management tools (E.g Ansible, Chef)
• Understanding of Monitoring tools (NewRelic, Pagerduty, Splunk, Cloudwatch etc)
• Strong Communication and documentation skills
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies through self-Learning
• Understanding of Monitoring tools (NewRelic, Pagerduty, Splunk, Cloudwatch etc)
• Experiencing of working in BioSciences domain.
• Proven experience in implementing and automating security tools and processes.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and vulnerabilities.
• Passion for security and innovation.

Certifications (Desirable) :

1. AWS Solution Architect Associate or Up

2. AWS DevOps Associate or Up

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,763.21 - $250,908.38 per year
