    WHAT YOU'LL DO
    The Vice President of Finance is responsible for the overall financial management, strategy, and reporting of the organization. They lead a team of financial professionals and collaborate with other departments to ensure sound financial practices and support the achievement of the company's financial goals and objectives. Their responsibilities encompass financial planning, analysis, reporting, and strategic decision-making to ensure the organization's financial health and long-term sustainability.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

    Financial Planning and Strategy:
    • Develop, implement, and oversee financial strategies, policies, and plans to drive the organization's financial success.
    • Provide financial leadership and guidance to senior management and the board of directors.
    Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and forecasts, to support decision-making.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements.
    Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to set financial targets and allocate resources.
    • Create and maintain financial models to facilitate forecasting and scenario analysis.
    Financial Analysis:
    • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and make strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance.
    • Evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives and investments.
    Cash Management:
    • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to meet operational needs and financial obligations.
    • Implement effective cash management strategies and policies.
    Risk Management:
    • Identify and assess financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
    Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing finance team, including financial analysts, accountants, and other professionals.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
    Financial Systems and Technology:
    • Oversee financial systems, tools, and technologies, ensuring they are efficient and aligned with organizational goals.
    • Drive process improvements and automation to enhance financial operations.
    Financial Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and other relevant laws and regulations.
    • Coordinate financial audits and reviews as required.
    Stakeholder Relations:
    • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including auditors, financial institutions, investors, and regulatory bodies.
    • Communicate financial performance and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.

    Job Requirements and Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA certification may be preferred).
    • Extensive experience in finance and accounting roles, with a proven track record of leadership in financial management.
    • Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and reporting standards.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including ERP systems and advanced spreadsheet tools.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence at all organizational levels.
    • Must pass a pre-employment background screening and drug screening.
    • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
