Has knowledge of proper food handling procedures and government regulations regarding the food code. Additionally, Combined Food Preparation and Service Worker requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Combined Food Preparation and Service Worker possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. The Role at a glance:We are looking to add a motivated food service worker to our corrections team in Elk City, IN. As a food service worker, you will have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks, learn a variety of skills, and interact with a diverse clientele daily in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll be doing:
Preparing, serving and distributing food, and may require working in various areas of the department, such as the tray line, dish room, cafeteria and storeroom.
