    Description
    The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.

    We are currently seeking Food Preparation Center Coordinators to care for our Veterans. Join our team if you want to give back to those who have given so much for our Country.

    Make a lasting impression on our Veterans assisting them by:
    • Supervise the preparation and serving of meals.
    • Reviewing menus and production sheets to ensure food is available.
    • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus.
    • Inspects menus, trays, and diet changes for accuracy.
    • Ensure scheduled cleaning duties are completed.
    This position offers 15% on top of base pay for all hours worked on second and third shifts and 25% on top of base pay for all hours worked on a holiday or weekend.

    This position, in Hopkins county has an approved Locality Premium of $6.33 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).
    Minimum Requirements
    EDUCATION: High school graduate.

    EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Four years of sub professional or professional experience in a food service operation.
