Has knowledge of proper food handling procedures and government regulations regarding the food code. Additionally, Combined Food Preparation and Service Worker requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Combined Food Preparation and Service Worker possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. This position will be at the Macon County Law Enforcement Training Center.
Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent plus 15 hours in Culinary Arts or related degree required.

Physical DemandsMust be able to receive, process, and provide visual and verbal information.Must be able to work effectively in stressful situations.Work is routinely performed in kitchen environment. Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing and pulling, using hands and fingers, stooping and occasional lifting of objects up to 30 lbs.
