Job Overview:

The Credit Analyst will play a crucial role in assessing the creditworthiness of potential clients, monitoring existing accounts, and providing valuable insights to support sound lending decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of financial & credit analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the creditworthiness of businesses by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, DNB reports, Moody’s reports, and other relevant financial information.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and recommend appropriate credit limits.

• Develop and maintain credit facilities and factoring relationships with domestic and international financial institutions.

• Analyze financial data to assess the financial health and stability of clients.

• Identify key financial trends and potential risks that may impact credit decisions.

• Ensure compliance with established credit policies and guidelines.

• Make recommendations for improvements to credit policies based on industry trends and best practices.

• Communicate credit decisions to internal stakeholders and provide clear justifications for recommendations.

• Collaborate with sales, finance, and other departments to gather necessary information and insights.

• Monitor and assess the ongoing credit risk of existing clients.

• Prepare regular reports on performance and credit exposure.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal teams.

• Assist in resolving credit-related inquiries and issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required, an MBA is a plus.

• Proven experience as a Credit Analyst or in a similar role.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of financial modeling and risk assessment techniques.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Languages: English (Required), Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and German are a plus.
