Who you are:
The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire jobsite, including subcontractor coordination, inspections, self-performed trades, scheduling and safety. They should be able to identify, plan and carry out high-risk work activities, with proper planning and execution. This candidate should have experience working as the sole Superintendent on commercial projects. They should also be experienced in communicating project milestones, preparing three-week look ahead schedules, and understanding trade sequencing and durations. This role will report to onsite projects throughout the Bay Area.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee daily operation of construction jobsites.
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed.
• Communicate project progress with project team members.
• Manage subcontractors and construction site organization.
• Confer with and direct subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work.
• Confer with the project team to resolve onsite construction issues.
• Inspects work to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications.
• Schedules and coordinates all AHJ and Third-Party inspections.
• Address all designer/consultant observation reports, correction notices and punch lists.
• Compile daily logs, report on progress, materials, labor, equipment and adjust work schedules.
• Perform other duties as job site management duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• Experience as a sole superintendent for a commercial contractor with experience in DSA regulated school construction (K-12), public works projects, and commercial related projects.
• Strong management and communications skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Familiarity with construction industry standards.
• In-depth knowledge of code compliance.
• OSHA-30.
• Experience in Procore.

Pay & Perks:

• Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000
