Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles and experience with accounting software such as Sage. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and has a passion for numbers. Responsibilities: - Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank statements - Process invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner - Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information - Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities - Perform monthly bank reconciliations - Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures - Assist with year-end audits and tax filings - Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes Skills: - Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles - Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Sage - Experience with general ledger accounting and accounts payable/receivable - Familiarity with financial concepts and budgeting - Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports - Knowledge of technical accounting standards and practices - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for numbers and a desire to contribute to the success of our organization, we encourage you to apply for the position of Bookkeeper.
