Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Agent. As a Leasing Agent/Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for communicating with existing tenants and assisting prospective tenants with leasing our properties. Duties:
- Assist prospective tenants with the application process, including collecting necessary documentation and conducting background checks
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections and preparing lease agreements
- Respond to tenant inquiries and address any concerns or maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track leads, follow up with prospects, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with the property management team to ensure all units are properly maintained and ready for occupancy
- Conduct market research to stay informed about current rental rates and trends in the local real estate market
Experience:
- Previous experience in leasing or sales is preferred
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and file management
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants, prospects, and team members
- Proficient in conflict management and problem-solving
- Familiarity with facilities management and maintenance processes is a plus
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is beneficial
