Responsibilities:
- Perform routine facilities maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, lighting, electrical, safety, HVAC, building interior, building exterior, and plumbing.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, structural, electrical, and plumbing problems
- Coordinate and assist co-workers and/or contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed tasks, materials used, and costs incurred
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read schematics
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with facilities maintenance in an industrial setting
- Ability to lead and supervise a team when necessary
- Welding skills are preferred but not required
