Responsible for the productivity and budgetary performance of the leasing operations department. Under the direction of the General Manager, the District Commercial Manager will complete strategies to increase profitable business growth within defined industry product categories and lead key tactical processes to ensure that Univar delivers on commitments to customers and suppliers.
WHAT YOULL DO:
Support daily completion of product management strategies: pricing, supplier share, etc.
Build and handle relationships with suppliers.
Maintain and analyzeperformance metrics, recommend actions.
Negotiatewith suppliers within product portfolio
Partner with regional commercial teams to collate market data for product portfolio.Uses data for internal decision-making regarding pricing and product allocation as well as supplier relationship building.
Provide mentorship to local commercial teams regarding pricing
Execute on identified cost efficiency opportunities in collaboration with Supply Chain
Provide product and market updates to the organization.
WHAT YOULL NEED:
Bachelors Degree
Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience (sales, marketing, product management)
Proven understanding of the chemical distribution business model
Proven relationship builder both externally and internally
Strong dedication to teamwork and collaboration.
