Commercial Leasing Manager manages and directs the daily activities of the leasing operations department in accordance with organization policies and standards. Responsible for all leasing functions, which may include reviewing and negotiating lease transactions and agreements. Being a Commercial Leasing Manager oversees completion of all necessary paperwork and ensures proper customer service. Responsible for the productivity and budgetary performance of the leasing operations department. Additionally, Commercial Leasing Manager develops and implements polices and procedures to improve efficiency and profitability of the department. Monitors trends for competition in the marketplace. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior manager or head of a unit/department. The Commercial Leasing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Commercial Leasing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     JOB SCOPE:
    The Branch Manager has direct P/L responsibility of the Branch and overall supervision of staff members. This position reports to the Regional Vice President/GM and is heavily sales focused.
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    • Manages all branch functions and is responsible for overall branch performance.
    • Successfully promotes and advertises the Value Proposition of Premier Trailer Leasing.
    • Prospects and secures opportunities to quote on customer equipment requirements.
    • Follows up (by phone or visit) on quotations submitted to customers.
    • Ability to establish professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management, other key personnel).
    • Responsible for all collection efforts.
    • Training and mentoring of subordinates.
    • Request additional help as required to meet branch obligations.
    QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
    • Required: 3-5 years working in operations and/or experience in the trucking industry, rental or customer service environments.
    • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business or like field plus 7 years previous experience working in sales and/or experience in the trucking industry, truck/trailer rental or customer service environments. Substantial experience as a sales manager also preferred.
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Drive in excess of five hours per day.
    • Get in and out of automobile repeatedly each workday. (At least five hours per day)
    • When needed physically inspect trailers inside and out.
    • Must be able to get in as well as underneath a trailer.
    • Walking up and down flights of stairs as necessary as well as walking the yard.
    • Drive/fly in excess of 3 days per week.
    TECHNOLOGY SKILLS:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
