Commercial Leasing Manager manages and directs the daily activities of the leasing operations department in accordance with organization policies and standards. Responsible for all leasing functions, which may include reviewing and negotiating lease transactions and agreements. Being a Commercial Leasing Manager oversees completion of all necessary paperwork and ensures proper customer service. Responsible for the productivity and budgetary performance of the leasing operations department. Additionally, Commercial Leasing Manager develops and implements polices and procedures to improve efficiency and profitability of the department. Monitors trends for competition in the marketplace. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior manager or head of a unit/department. The Commercial Leasing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. About the Position:
To ensure the subject property is fully occupied by properly qualified applicants at all times. Position requires Leasing, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service experience. Responsible for achieving occupancy goals of subject property(s) by a) identifying, cultivating and exploiting all potential applicant recruiting sources, including telephone, internet, direct mail, signage, banners, print, television and radio, b) creating, implementing and maintaining a CCI Leasing & Marketing Plan for the community, c) forming productive, long term professional relationships with various types of community organizations that enhance our leasing efforts at the subject property.
Responsibilities:
1. Understand and carry out all Leasing/Marketing responsibilities as identified in the CCI Leasing/Marketing Plan, AFHMP and any other relevant leasing strategies.
2. Complete and update move in tracker with applicant file status in real time.
3. Show and Lease apartments.
4. Thorough knowledge of CCI Rental Application, Lease, House Rules, Pet Policy, Resident Selection Criteria and any other pertinent governing documents.
5. Thorough understanding of CCI Move-in and Move-Out processes.
6. Excellent telephone, writing and sales skills.
7. Accurate and timely processing of all required administrative forms, reports and other related information.
8. Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
9. Ensure each vacant unit is 100% ready for move-in.
10. Respond to all requests in a timely manner (within 24 hours).
11. Maintain records in a timely, accurate and organized manner.
12. Provide support to Property Manager on miscellaneous projects, as needed.
13. Work with Property Manager to ensure the subject property has a good reputation in the community.
14. Maintain good Resident relations by prompt, courteous and complete response to resident problems.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in property management helpful
Leasing experience preferred
Excellent telephone, writing and sales skills
Computer literacy required
