Upper Peninsula State Bank, with offices in Iron Mountain, Escanaba, Gladstone, Marquette, and Houghton, MI is seeking a Business Banker/Commercial Loan Officer for our growing Iron Mountain Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing both an existing portfolio as well as establishing new business banking relationships throughout Dickinson County. We are looking for a well-connected, motivated, and energetic individual to focus on business development and work with an existing portfolio of business customers on their business banking needs.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a part of our growing commercial lending team throughout the Upper Peninsula of Michigan including our new markets in Houghton and Marquette, MI
• Will meet with business owners and other professionals discussing their varying needs
• Be active in the community and represent the bank at varying functions
• Cross sell other bank products and services and also be responsible for deposit growth
• Collaborate with credit analysts and others in the approval process
• Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Be involved in the daily branch management and branch growth strategic plan
• Manage an existing, well-established loan portfolio
• Be motivated by continuous progress, achievement of goals, and a shared vision of the bank’s future.

Previous Loan Officer experience, preferably business lending, preferred but not required .
