Commercial Loan Processor

  • The Commercial Loan Processor is responsible for various operational aspects of Loan Operations including loan processing and input of consumer and commercial loans.  When necessary, will also assist other lending personnel in various duties to ensure the successful operation of the department.
     
    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Reviews Commercial Loan Data Sheets and Credit Department write ups when Commercial loan request is received from branch. Verifies all information has been accurately provided to create loan processor file.
    • Completes internal checklists ensuring compliance with regulations, internal policies and procedures with high detail loan requests.
    • Completes required documentation following the acceptance of the loan request. This would include but not be limited to reviewing all supporting documentation, contacting loan officers, branch support personnel or credit department regarding deficiencies, preparing and distributing required documents. Reviews loan files for completeness and accuracy. Delivers loan documentation to loan officer and/or branch support personnel.
    • Assists with the preparation of required documents for extensions and renewals. This would include but not be limited to reviewing all supporting documentation, contacting loan officers or branch support personnel regarding any deficiencies, preparing and distributing required documentation.
    • Assists with inputting new and renewed loans, disbursing loan proceeds, and performance of any other required file maintenance on the Premier system.
    • Assists loan officers and branch support personnel with questions regarding loan documentation, and loan documentation status.
    • Order UCC searches and prepare and file new UCC’s when appropriate.
    • Completes required training associated with job function.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
     
    Qualifications
    Education:
    • High School diploma or equivalent, Associates preferred.
     
    Experience:
    • 1 years banking, clerical or loan processing experience preferred.
    Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products with working knowledge in excel.
    • Must be able to work with a significant amount of detailed information in an accurate, timely and confidential manner.
    • High level of interpersonal skills to interact with loan officers, appraisers and title companies in a professional manner.
    • May be required to work a rotating schedule on Saturdays during acquisitions or peak seasons.
    • May be required to work earlier or later than a normal workday during acquisitions or peak seasons.
