Commercial Loan Clerk, Sr. processes loan payments and applies funds to customer accounts. Calculates and processes payoffs, and releases titles and insurance interest. Being a Commercial Loan Clerk, Sr. calculates and prepares refunds for customers that submit overpayments. Responds to customer inquiries and requests for net payoff quotes. Additionally, Commercial Loan Clerk, Sr. may require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Commercial Loan Clerk, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Position Summary:
This will be responsible for managing an existing Commercial Ag loan portfolio and developing new Commercial Ag lending business. This will require the candidate to be able to effectively underwrite, structure and close all types of Commercial Ag loans in accordance with the Bank’s established policies and procedures. The VP Ag/Commercial Loan Officer must exercise sound judgment in the loan making process.
This position will have extensive customer contact and will be responsible for all operational aspects for Commercial Ag loans in their market. The VP Ag/Commercial Loan Officer will be responsible for abiding by and keeping up to date on the Bank’s lending policies in addition to State and Federal lending regulations.
The level of this position is based on years of service, education and/or equivalent experience, knowledge level and skill set.
