Commercial Loan Manager manages a team of commercial loan officers to build commercial loan business within a designated market. Provides operational guidance to loan officers and approves requests for loans beyond the officers' approval limits. Being a Commercial Loan Manager may personally handle the most complex loans and most difficult credit approvals. Adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal risk and operating policies and procedures. Additionally, Commercial Loan Manager builds a high-performance lending team with individual mentoring, coaching, and professional development opportunities. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Commercial Loan Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Commercial Loan Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Accounting Manager is a newly created position and will be responsible for enhancing the month-end close process to support Helios Operating Companies. This role will report directly to the VP of Finance.

     Responsibilities:

    • Perform the monthly and quarterly accounting close process and continuously improve processes to scale with the organization
    • Oversee expense tracking as well as the procure-to-pay process
    • Manage general ledger and review monthly and quarterly reconciliations 
    • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Provide support and analysis in the preparation of management presentations
    • Identify and implement improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the day-to-day operations as well as the close process 
    • Recommend and implement best practices regarding accounting policies and procedures
    • Build relationships cross-functionally to foster collaboration both inside and outside of the finance and accounting teams 
    • Assist with the AR and AP staff

     Requirements: 

    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
    • BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
    • Strong understanding of GAAP
    • 5 years of work experience in the accounting field
    • Experience overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable department
    • Experience in people management
    • Audit experience and working with private equity-backed companies is a plus

    Helios' compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $100,000 annually in our lowest geographic market up to $120,000 annually in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Helios  compensation may also include annual bonus, commissions, equity, sign-on payments, as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
