Commercial Loan Manager manages a team of commercial loan officers to build commercial loan business within a designated market. Provides operational guidance to loan officers and approves requests for loans beyond the officers' approval limits. Adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal risk and operating policies and procedures.     SUMMARY: With limited direction, the Integrated Account Servicing (IAS) Manager provides leadership of a team within a larger unit/function with team members who possess common skill sets and similar objectives. Responsible for team development and resource coordination of the assigned department(s). The incumbent ensures that department duties are performed in an accurate, prompt, and efficient manner in order to provide exceptional and consistent customer service. The incumbent ensures applicable banking laws, rules, regulations, and bank policies are followed.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Manages a team of associates; responsible for the effective coordination and execution of the work of the team with an emphasis of focus on annual objectives.
    • Manages team within established budget, including the reallocation of funds based on shifting priorities.
    • Provides the oversight and leadership necessary to accomplish work with understanding and alignment with peer unit leaders.
    • Coaches and guides team members; provides input to financial and people resource plans for the area. Ensures resources are in place and operating effectively within the discipline.
    • Develops work plans and priorities for the area, based on objectives received.
    • Responsible for performance related activities, including performance reviews and input for compensation decisions.
    • Integrates internal and external resources to meet the needs of the business.
    • Identifies areas of risk and develops remediation strategies or escalates as necessary.
    • Ensures that team members are aware of and aligned to Arvest goals and objectives.
    • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

    • Maintain a high level of cooperation and rapport with all associates in order to ensure accurate and efficient operations and service.
    • Formulate and communicate new ideas and suggestions that will improve profitability and efficiency for the company’s overall operation.
    • Foster and promote the proper company image at all times.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Directly supervise 2 or more associates as assigned by the Manager. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Ensure direct reports have completed required compliance training and are adhering to all internal procedures and controls as it relates to bank policy, laws, regulations and Arvest’s BSA/AML Program. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates. The incumbent has the authority and the appropriate influence to make recommendations regarding hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, or any other change of status of other associates within the guidelines of the bank’s procedures and guidelines for such change of status events. The incumbent provides training, planning, assigning, and directing work assignments and schedules; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience required.
    • 6 years relevant experience in progressively responsible positions required.
    • 3 years previous supervisory and/or management experience required.
    • Previous banking or financial services experience preferred.
