Commercial Loan Officer solicits and services a variety of smaller commercial loans. Performs a due diligence review of potential borrowers, including a risk and financial analysis. Being a Commercial Loan Officer approves loans within established limits or presents to loan committee for approval. Monitors and maintains existing commercial loan portfolio. Additionally, Commercial Loan Officer adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal risk and operating policies and procedures. May assist senior loan officers with larger or more complex loans. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Commercial Loan Officer work is closely managed. We are looking for a Relationship Manager / SBA Loan Officer responsible for specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
Assists lending team in all facets of growing and managing the bank's SBA loans.
Develops new and additional deposits, cash management and bank services revenue.
Works with clients to resolve account or service-related problems
Maintains ongoing visibility with client base
Calls and visits target customers to promote and sell establishment products and services.
Promotes and cross-sells other establishment products and services as appropriate to customer requirements, such as business checking, business credit card, and letters of credit.
Can be based in San Jose or San Francisco
Specific qualifications for the position include:
Bachelor Degree/Master's Degree or equivalent.
Actively strive to increase customers' deposit business within the bank.
Demonstrated sales experience, negotiation skills, business development, portfolio management skills, accounting and/or financial acumen.

Pay Rate Range: $90,000 - 150,000 plus discretionary bonus
