In partnership with a leading aviation company here in the Mariana, CA area, we are looking to add Composite Inspectors to our growing team.

• Pay rate = $26-32 per hour

• Shift = 1st - working 8a-4:30p Mon-Fri

In this role, not only will you be working for an industry leader in the aviation industry, but you will also have the opportunity to accelerate your career in manufacturing. The primary responsibility of our Composite Inspectors is to perform incoming, in-process and final inspection of composite materials and parts.

Additional job responsibilities include:

• In-process inspection during the layup process for composite material

• Perform final inspection on completed composite parts and work order packages

• General knowledge of ASME Y14.5M, working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure compliance with client and product specification

• Identify/recognize inspection errors and non-conformances - including completion of required documentation regarding nonconformance

Qualified candidates must have:

• 2 years of composite or mechanical inspection experience in the aviation/aerospace industry

• High-school diploma or GED

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints along with understanding types of measurement, terminology and the different types of measurement scales
  Experience using hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, scales and the like.

• General understanding of traceability (product, material and calibration)

• Strong math skills - including measurement conversions

Pay Details: $26.00 to $32.00 per hour
