Works mostly with moderately large and complex real estate loans including investments, development, and construction loans. Being a Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer evaluates loan applicants and reviews appraisals, credit reports, and other information necessary to evaluate deals. Develops and maintains relationships and communication with current and potential borrowers. Additionally, Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer coordinates with credit analysts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of loan analysis and documentation. Requires a bachelor's degree. Overview:
The primary function is to cultivate external referral relationships for the purpose of originating mortgage loans and capturing additional membership for the credit union while providing high quality service. This position will be responsible for taking high quality loan applications, pulling credit, structuring loans in a beneficial, prudent, and responsible manner while ensuring loans meet secondary market guidelines and/or credit union policies while building the real estate loan portfolio.
