Job Description:

Fabuwood is seeking a Buyer for our Purchasing Department. If you are a detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, we invite you to join the Fabuwood team as a Buyer. You will play a pivotal role in our procurement process, managing the ordering and reordering of raw materials and components, including over 4000 unique items.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the ordering and reordering of a diverse inventory of over 4000 components.

• Manage the day-to-day purchasing activities ensuring that all incoming items are tracked, including delivery dates, quantities, and SKUs.

• Effectively process information from various sources, making informed decisions and adjustments based on availability, delays, and changing circumstances.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align purchasing activities with production needs and company objectives.

• Proactively identify and address issues related to delayed deliveries or shortages, devising creative solutions to maintain production flow.

• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and circumstances while maintaining a high level of efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Ability to manage time-sensitive purchases and maintain detailed records

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational aptitude

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and creative approach to challenges

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability

• Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is preferred
