Buyer
Our growing manufacturing client is seeking a skilled Buyer to manage acquisition of materials and services for their Amherst, NH facility. This full-time role is perfect for a sharp negotiator with strong math skills and at least 5 years of purchasing experience.
Responsibilities of the Buyer

• Purchase materials
• Track logistics
• Manage outside services
• Order and track tool fabrication and repair
• Update open POs
• Maintain spreadsheet of raw material costs for sales quoting
• Evaluate suppliers
• Issue RFQs and work with suppliers to obtain best, competitive pricing and terms
• Assist with inventory and maintain office supplies
• Generate reports
• Manage audits  
• Perform additional tasks and projects as required

Qualifications of the Buyer

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• 5-10 years of related work experience
• Computer proficiency including MS Office, Sesame database system, and Great Plains accounting software
• Professional communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to multitask amidst everchanging priorities
