Responsibilities: - Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans to support organizational goals and objectives - Manage all aspects of social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement - Conduct market research to identify target audiences and develop targeted communication strategies - Create and edit compelling content for various platforms, including website, blog posts, newsletters, and press releases - Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists to secure positive coverage - Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization, handling media inquiries and coordinating interviews - Develop and deliver effective public speaking engagements to promote the organization's mission and initiatives - Oversee the production of marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to style guidelines - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of messaging across all departments Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) - Proven experience in developing and implementing successful communication strategies - Strong knowledge of social media management platforms and best practices - Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail - Demonstrated experience in media relations, including pitching stories and securing press coverage - Proficient in public speaking with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively - Familiarity with current trends in digital marketing and communications - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Join our dynamic team as the Director of Communications and make a significant impact on our organization's growth.
