Communications Director directs an organization's internal and external communications strategies and programs. Directs and oversees communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products. Being a Communications Director may conduct market or public opinion research to assess program outcomes. Suggests promotional campaign ideas in various types of media, as well as counsels top management on effective communication strategies. Additionally, Communications Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Communications Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Communications Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Essential Functions

- Load/Unload inbound and/or outbound freight from trailers/containers
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Transport raw materials to production workstations
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2-4 years warehouse experience (Preferred)
- Must be able to consistently stand/life/bend for an entire 8-hour shift
Skills
- Forklift experience (preferred)
- Ability to understand, interpret, and follow directions
- Basic computer/RF scanner skills
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail
