This leader will be responsible for managing strategic internal, external, and executive communications for Wells Fargo. The team delivers world-class communications counsel and content to stakeholders in ways that build trust while protecting and enhancing the company’s reputation and culture. In this role, you will: Manage a team of managers and more experienced level individual contributors responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications plans that advance Wells Fargo’s reputation as an industry leader. Manage Auto’s communications strategy and provide support for large size business segment. Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic counselor to executives. Inform and influence decision makers at the executive level. Collaborate with executives on business objectives and strategy to enhance organizational brand and reputation. Partner with other Communications teams to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging. Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Communications Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy Required Qualifications: 8 years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 4 years of management experience Desired Qualifications: 10 years of experience in auto servicing strategic communication plans. 6 years direct management experience Strong analytical and writing skills, ability to effectively communicate in mission-critical moments. Must operate with grace under pressure. Experience working for a bank or public relations agency supporting financial service clients in a communications capacity. Deep experience working with top-tier media outlets and financial press Experience leading, high-performing geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams within a matrix organization. Ability to collaborate across large, matrixed teams. Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances. Excellent relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and strategically to solve complex communication challenges. Experience managing crisis communications and navigating sensitive issues with professionalism and integrity. Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their full potential.
